Hi Everyone,
Our ski trip to Mt. Cranmore is coming up again February 26th, 27th and 28th. This year we will need all the forms filled out and returned with a check by the February 9th meeting. We are planning on doing the same as in previous years. We will be skiing on Saturday and using the pool after. We will be tubing on Sunday morning and heading out after around noon. Every Scout and Adult attending needs to fill out a group rate sheet checking off what they will be doing. Any one can purchase tickets at the regular rate for themselves at the mountain, but once we give them the numbers for our group, the money is not refundable. Please remember the cost is $ 10. per night per person for staying in the lodge and $10. for troop food. The troop will provide breakfast Saturday and Sunday and dinner Saturday night as well as snacks and drinks. The scouts are responsible for their own dinner Friday night as well as for lunch on Saturday. There is no reason to be up early on Friday night. Plan on arriving after 9pm. We have the second floor of the Arlberg lodge, the same as last year. This Lodge is to the left across the parking lot from the main lodge. Remember this is indoor camping so be sure to bring a sleeping bag and a floor pad. For those scouts who never skied before the $69. lesson package is a very good deal. Any one who would prefer to ski Sunday instead of tube, just indicate it on your group rate sheet and make sure you have adult supervision for the day. I will be doing the snow sports merit badge for any one interested. Make sure you see me before the trip and get a blue card from Mr. Carson.
