| Mark Your New Calenders Hi Troop 30, I hope everyone had a great holiday! We have a few dates to mark your new calendars with. First, although it is June11th, 12th and 13th, we will be attending the Minute Man muster in Newbury. The reason why this is first is because we need the money for this trip by January 12th to secure our place. The cost is $25. per scout and $10. per adult, this includes a patch and T -Shirt. The Klondike Derby will be in Lowell on January 30th. This is always a lot of fun and Troop 30 has a tradition of doing well in this event. There is usually a patch for participating and a separate patch for camping out. Our annual Cub Scout recruitment event will be Sunday January 10th at the Elk's. The Ski trip to Mt. Cranmore in North Conway NH will be February 26th, 27th and 28th. This trip has been a lot of fun and more scouts have gone each year. I will be offering the Snow sports merit badge again this year for any scouts interested. I will be sending out a separate Email about this trip with info and forms. We have booked the Boston Rock Gym in Woburn again for our meeting on March 16th. The Scouts always have a great time at this event! We are going to be doing another Car Wash on Saturday May, 22nd. The rain date for this will be Saturday June, 5th. Last year we had a great day and every one did a super job! The Saco River canoe trip is planned for June 25th, 26th and 27th. This is a true Troop 30 tradition! This year our summer camp week is July 25th to the 30th. We are back at our usual Hanuna campsite.
